This publication is the Scientific Exploration Society's (SES) digital publication – a hybrid magazine that aims to advance knowledge about, and provide peer-to-peer support for, scientific and adventure-led expeditions.

Briony Turner (SES Trustee) and I cofounded it in mid 2020. As co-editors of the publication, we share the management of the publication and commission new authors, and manage the Editorial team.

The publication was created in order to learn through support, shared experiences, and the passing on of knowledge. Academic and non-articles are accepted for publication and edited, by our Editorial team who work with the author so that the articles can be read by the general public. It is a volunteer publication and published on the ISSUU Platform.
